Day 1: Railay Beach & Sunset

Start your Krabi adventure with a short boat ride to Railay, one of the most spectacular parts of the province. Spend the morning exploring Railay West before walking across to Phra Nang Beach, where limestone cliffs rise directly from the sea.

If you're feeling adventurous, try a beginner rock-climbing session. Otherwise, keep the afternoon free for swimming, exploring and doing absolutely nothing productive. You're on holiday.

Stay for sunset before taking the boat back to Ao Nang.
DAY 1 AT A GLANCE : Ao Nang → Railay → Phra Nang → Sunset → Ao Nang

Day 2: Island Hopping

Day two belongs on the water. Take an island-hopping trip to the Hong Islands, known for clear water, limestone formations and a spectacular lagoon hidden inside the islands.

Most trips leave in the morning and return during the afternoon, leaving you with time to relax before dinner in Ao Nang.

Day 3: Nature & Tiger Cave Temple

Leave the coastline behind and discover Krabi's inland side. Start with the Emerald Pool, a natural freshwater pool surrounded by tropical forest, and combine it with the nearby hot springs.

Later, head to Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea). Reaching the summit means climbing more than a thousand steps, but the panoramic view across Krabi is a memorable way to finish the trip.

If that sounds suspiciously energetic for your final day, skip the climb and spend the afternoon back at the beach instead.
DAY 3 AT A GLANCE : Emerald Pool → Hot Springs → Tiger Cave Temple → Ao Nang

Have More Time?

If you have four or five days, slow the itinerary down rather than trying to collect attractions like Pokémon cards.

Add another beach day, explore Klong Muang  or Tubkaek, or take an additional boat trip towards the Phi Phi Islands.
