And if you're exhausted after being awake since sunrise?

Going back to your hotel is also a perfectly respectable nightlife strategy.

Can You Really Do All of This in One Day?

Yes, but don't treat this itinerary as a race.

Koh Samui is larger than it sometimes appears on a map, and travel times can add up. Trying to cross the island repeatedly will quickly turn your relaxing tropical day into a transportation challenge.

The easiest approach is to choose your stops based on where you're staying.

If your hotel is around Chaweng or Lamai, start your morning on the east coast and gradually work your way toward wherever you want to spend sunset and the evening.

You also don't need to follow every stop exactly.

Skip something. Stay at the beach longer. Have lunch at 3 PM. Change your plans because you found somewhere you like.
